We are celebrating the first spring weekend with the scents, flavors, and colors brought by nature’s awakening!​

Since ancient times, the first day of spring has been celebrated as the triumph of light over darkness, marking the end of a long winter and the beginning of new life.

Many ancient cultures observed the spring equinox with rituals, feasts, and fertility celebrations.

In Slavic tradition, spring was associated with the goddess Mokosh, protector of fertility and the earth, and Jarilo, the god of youth and vegetation, whose arrival signified nature’s awakening. Rituals included lighting fires, singing, and dancing in honor of the sun and fertility. Even today, this day offers an opportunity for celebration, gathering, and enjoying all that nature gives us.
