About Experience

Postoji jedno mjesto u Splitu koje nosi ime po staroslavenskoj boginji – zaštitnici žena, doma i prirode. To je Mokosh. I nema boljeg mjesta da proslavite Dan Žena nego upravo ovdje, u zagrljaju raskošnog mediteranskog perivoja Ville Tončić, uz 4-slijedni degustacijski meni koji je Chef Đorđe Marković osmislio posebno za ovaj dan.

There is a place in Split named after an ancient Slavic goddess – the protector of women, home, and nature. That place is Mokosh. On International Women's Day, we open the gates of Villa Tončić's lush Mediterranean garden and invite you to celebrate with a 4-course tasting menu crafted especially for this day by Chef Đorđe Marković.

PRVI SLIJED FIRST COURSE

Kreker i sir Cracker & Cheese

Prhki domaći kreker, kremasti kozji sir, med i tostirani lješnjaci.

Crispy homemade cracker, creamy goat's cheese, honey and toasted hazelnuts.


Arancin na crno Black Arancini

Arancini od crnog rižota s dimljenim dalmatinskim sirom i majonezom od češnjaka.

Black risotto arancini with smoked Dalmatian cheese and garlic aioli.


PREDJELO STARTER

Beef tartar

Sitno sjeckani juneći bistek, začini, smeđi maslac i selekcija kruha.

Finely chopped beef steak, spices, brown butter and a selection of bread.


Tuna tartar

Sjeckana tuna, avokado, umak na bazi soje i sakea, krema od kokosa i limunske trave i selekcija kruha.

Chopped tuna, avocado, soy and sake sauce, coconut and lemongrass cream, served with a selection of bread.


GLAVNO JELO MAIN COURSE

Lungić Pork Tenderloin

Polagano kuhan svinjski file u mediteranskom bilju i dijon senfu, poslužen uz demiglace s marsalom i suhim smokvama i mix gljiva. Prilog: pire krumpir s kremom od bijelog tartufa, prženi krumpir i mix salata.

Slow-cooked pork tenderloin with Mediterranean herbs and Dijon mustard, served with Marsala and dried fig demi-glace, mixed mushrooms. Sides: white truffle mashed potato, fried potatoes, mixed salad.


Brancin Sea Bass

Pečeni otkošteni brancin, limun, pržena palenta s mediteranskim biljem, tikvice i konfitirane cherry rajčice. Prilog: blitva s krumpirom, hladna salata od mahuna, cvjetače i brokule i mix salata.

Roasted deboned sea bass, lemon, grilled polenta with Mediterranean herbs, zucchini and confit cherry tomatoes. Sides: Swiss chard with potatoes, cold green bean, cauliflower and broccoli salad, mixed salad.

Chef Đorđe Marković

Meni za Dan Žena kreirao je naš chef Đorđe Marković. Kroz pažljivo osmišljen slijed jela, Đorđe spaja mediteranske okuse s preciznim kulinarskim pristupom – nudeći gostima iskustvo koje je istovremeno elegantno i toplo, upravo onako kako Mokosh i jest.

The Women's Day menu is the work of our chef Đorđe Marković. Through a carefully composed sequence of dishes, Đorđe brings together Mediterranean flavours with a precise culinary approach – offering guests an experience that is at once elegant and warm, exactly as Mokosh is meant to be.


Mjesto Koje Slavi Žene

Mokosh nije samo restoran – to je ime staroslavenske božice, zaštitnice žena, doma i prirode. Smješten unutar povijesne Ville Tončić u Slavićevoj ulici, Mokosh krije jedan od najljepših tajnih vrtova u Splitu: raskošni mediteranski perivoj s fontanom, prirodnom hladovinom i skrovitim kutcima savršenima za posebne trenutke.


Interijer vile, nagrađen prestižnom SBID nagradom i nominiran za Dezeen Awards, djelo je arhitektice Katje Stubny i dizajnerskog studija 502 – prostor koji spaja secesijsku povijest s modernom elegancijom.


Mokosh takes its name from a forgotten Slavic goddess – the guardian of women, the household and nature. Set within the historic Villa Tončić on Slavićeva Street, Mokosh hides one of Split's most beautiful secret gardens: a lush Mediterranean oasis with a softly murmuring fountain, natural shade and intimate corners made for meaningful moments.

The villa's interior – awarded the prestigious SBID Award and nominated for Dezeen Awards – was designed by architect Katja Stubny and Design Studio 502, blending the building's Art Nouveau heritage with a bold, contemporary spirit.
